By filling out the registration form and attending classes, you agree to the following policies and rules. Please review thoroughly at sign up as these are not all the policies.
If you are not completely satisfied after your first lesson, we will refund 100% of your tuition, minus the registration fee. Please email MySwimSchoolUSA@gmail.com within 72 hours of the first class to be eligible. You will receive a confirmation of the cancellation and refund within 48 hours. Classes are transferable within the same calendar year to anyone (friend, family, or donation). Refunds will not be offered for any reason after 72 hours.
To qualify for a make-up, parents must provide at least 12 hours’ notice before the scheduled class. Make-ups can be scheduled online and must be used within 60 days of the missed class. Classes canceled by My Swim School due to inclement weather, holidays, or other scheduled closures may always be made up according to this policy. Make-up classes cannot be converted into credit or refund, may not be with the same instructor, and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If your child becomes sick unexpectedly, please keep them home until symptom-free for 24 hours without medication. If notice is given at least 12 hours in advance, make-ups may be scheduled.
Please allow extra time to find parking in the neighborhood. Park safely, staying at least four feet from fire hydrants, mailboxes, and driveways.
All weather notifications will be sent by email, not text messages. In the event of a storm, visible lightning, or nearby heavy thunder, classes may be postponed for 30 minutes. You will receive an email if your class is delayed. If conditions remain unsafe, the class will be canceled, and another email will notify you. If you do not receive an email, the class will proceed as scheduled. Classes already in session for 20 minutes or longer at cancellation will be considered completed and do not qualify for a make-up.
Parents are encouraged to support and reassure their children but may not approach students during class unless called by the instructor. Guardians and siblings not enrolled in class are not allowed in the pool or pool deck, except for ‘Mini Swimmers’ classes or at the end of class. A parent area is available for observation. Parents are expected to remain nearby in case their child needs assistance.
Payment is due on the 25th of the prior month to reserve your child’s spot. Check and cash payments are accepted for ongoing tuition, but a credit or debit card must be on file, and the first payment must be made using a card. The full Payment Policy, including automatic billing, late fees, and cancellation rules, will be reviewed at registration.
Payments not received by the 1st of the month incur a $20 late fee. If payment is not received by 9:00 PM the night before the first class, the student will be dropped, and the spot made available for other families. All payments and drops are processed automatically and cannot be reversed.
Photos and videos may be taken by our team for promotional purposes and used on our website or social media. Families may take photos or videos of their own child but should avoid capturing other children unless given permission. If you do not want your child included, please let us know.
Children may play in the yard before or after classes but must stay away from screens to avoid distractions. Closed-toe shoes are recommended to prevent injuries and help keep the area clean. The school is not responsible for injuries while children play in the yard.
Students under 3 or not fully potty trained must wear double swim diapers. Disposable swim diapers in addition to a reusable one, or two disposable diapers, are required. A $300 cleaning fee will be charged if a student has a potty accident and is not wearing double diapers. Regular diapers may not be worn in the pool.
Please avoid feeding your child within 30 minutes of class to prevent vomiting. If a student vomits in the pool, class will pause for cleaning and sanitation, delaying classes for the day by 30 minutes. Notifications will be sent by email
