By filling out the registration form and attending classes you agree to the following policies and rules. Please read thoroughly. We will post any changes or updates here.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
* If for any reason you are not completely satisfied after the first lesson, we will refund 100% of your tuition (minus the registration fee).
* Please email us at MySwimSchoolUSA@gmail.com within 72 hours of your first swim class to be eligible.
* We will send you a confirmation of the cancellation and refund within 48 hours.
* Classes are transferable, within the same calendar year, to anyone (friend, family, or donation).
* We do not offer refunds FOR ANY REASON 72 HOURS AFTER first class.
Make Up Classes
Our make up policy is strictly enforced due to the busy and limited schedule.
* We require a 12-hour notice for canceling classes. Anything less than 12 hours will be considered a no show and will not be eligible to be made up. This includes medical issues, traffic, emergencies, etc. (it does not include classes canceled due to bad weather or other closures on My Swim School’s side)
* You are responsible for scheduling make-up classes, and you will have 30 days to schedule them, after 30 days we are not able to accommodate any make-up classes and you will forfeit your missed class.
* The request for a make-up class must be via email (myswimschoolusa@gmail.com). Please do not send us text messages or approach the coaches during class regarding make-up classes.
Parking
*Please allow yourself time to look for parking as our parking is in a neighborhood. Feel free to park anywhere, being mindful to stay at least 4 ft away from the water hydrant and all mailboxes and driveway entrances. Avoid being towed away.
Inclement Weather
* We live in Florida and know how crazy the weather can be. In the event of a storm, visible lightning or nearby heavy thunthers, we will postpone the class for 30 minutes.
* We will text you saying we are running on a delayed schedule, and your class will start 30 minutes after your regular scheduled time.
* If after 30 minutes the conditions are still not appropriate for class, we will cancel the class and send you another message to let you know.
* If we have not contacted you to say either one of the announcements above, the class is still happening and you are expected in class.
* We do not like students missing class because it usually sets them back, and we use some rainy days to practice possible real-life scenarios.
* We will never put our students or staff at risk, so we will not have classes under dangerous conditions. Rain alone is not a dangerous condition.
Parent/ Family Participation
* Parents are encouraged to be active and reassuring to their child(ren), but they are not allowed to approach the students during class unless called by the instructor.
* Parents/guardians and siblings not enrolled in classes are not allowed to be in the pool or the pool deck, unless it is a ‘Parent & Me’ class, or is the end of the class. There is a parent area where classes can be observed without obstruction and lots of shade.
* This is not a drop off program. Parents/ guardians are expected to be nearby in case the child needs to use the restroom, etc.
Payments
* Payment is due on the 25th or the previous month. This will ensure your spot is saved for the next month. If you miss the last class of the month, please make arrangements, so your spot is saved.
* To cancel classes completely, and stop payments we require a written notice by the 15th of the prior month. This notice must be in writing, via email (myswimschoolusa@gmail.com). Once we receive it, we will send you a confirmation within 48 hours. We offer make-up classes only to those currently enrolled in our swim program.
Photos & Videos
* I understand that photos and videos are occasionally taken at My Swim School and any image taken of my child(ren) may be used for publicity purposes, including print, digital and all other forms of media advertising.
* If you do not wish your child to participate, please tell the person who is taking videos or photos. This includes parents taking pictures and videos of their own children.
* You are free to record and take pictures during class time. We love being tagged on FaceBook (@MySwimSchoolUSA)
Back Yard Rules
* If you are having classes at My Swim School's pool, your kids are welcome to play in the yard before and after classes; however, they need to play away from the screens as they can be distracting to the classes being held at that time.
* We have found nails and pieces of glass on the ground as well as snakes and spiders, so we recommend everyone wears closed toe shoes. This also helps us keep our pool and deck cleaner.
* We are not responsible for any injuries of children playing in the yard. You are allowing them to play at your own risk.
Swim Diapers
* Any student under 3 or those not fully potty trained must wear a double swim diaper.
* Disposable swim diapers in addition to a reusable one, or two disposable ones are required.
* A $300 cleaning fee will be charged if a student has a potty accident in the pool that causes the closure of the pool, and they are not wearing a double diaper. This includes children that are potty trained and/or older than 3 years.
* Regular diapers break in the water and clog the filters, please do not wear regular diapers during class time.
Eating Before Class
* Please do not feed your child 30 minutes before swim class. If they swallow water, they could throw up and besides their discomfort, it usually sets them back because they get scared, and we will usually have to cancel the rest of the class for cleaning and sanitation.
* On the rare occasion that a student vomits in the pool, we will stop the class and sanitize the water. We will delay the classes 30 minutes (waiting for the water to be sanitized) for the remainder of the day.
* We will text you saying we are running on a delayed schedule, and your class will start 30 minutes after your regular scheduled time.
