Swim Classes Save Lives

Swimming isn’t just fun—it’s a life-saving skill for children and adults of all ages. At My Swim School, we help swimmers feel safe, confident, and excited every time they get in the water through playful, encouraging lessons that make learning feel like play.

Our program goes beyond basic water safety. Children learn to float, flip forward to swim, roll back to float and breathe, develop proper stroke technique, and build endurance as they grow. From baby-and-me classes to independent swimmers and even adults, every lesson follows a clear progression designed to create strong, confident swimmers who truly enjoy the water.

Because at the end of the day, swim classes save lives—and they also build strength, independence, and a lifelong love of swimming.

Our Swim Program Levels

From baby splashes to strong strokes — swim lessons for every age and stage.

At My Swim School, our program is designed to build strong, confident swimmers through progressive, safety-focused instruction:

Mini Swimmers (Baby & Me)

Mini Swimmers is a parent-and-child class focused on building comfort and confidence in the water together. With a parent in the pool, swimmers are gently introduced to the float → breathe → float progression, learning to roll to their back to rest. Children practice going underwater comfortably, reaching for the wall, and climbing out with assistance. This level is all about water safety, trust, and positive early experiences in the pool.

Swim Builders (Independent Swimmers)

Float Builders develops essential survival skills while helping swimmers truly enjoy the water. Children independently practice the float → breathe → float progression, allowing them to recover to a safe floating position after getting air. Swimmers also go underwater to retrieve objects and begin developing basic front and back propulsion. This is the level where real swimming movement begins.

Stroke Builders

Stroke Builders transitions swimmers from survival skills to true swimming technique. Students refine front and back propulsion, build endurance, and learn proper form for all four competitive strokes. This level increases strength, confidence, and the ability to swim longer distances independently.

What Parents Are Saying

Fabian

Mackenzi

Fabian

Our son was 4 and completely scared of the pool and getting his head underwater before he started with Ana. However, in the first class, it only took him minutes to be comfortable with her and get his head underwater (and he was happy doing it too!) . He is now  more confident, swims safe and loves swimming.

Fabian

He was terrified of the deep end but Ana had him jumping in and floating in just a few minutes of working with him one on one.  Don’t hesitate! The environment is comfortable and the children feel safe. The teachers are so patient and encouraging. I can’t recommend My Swim School enough.

Amanda & Miles

Ana at swim made him step out of his comfort by putting his head underwater and he did great. Do it! (Enroll now)  Kids need the bases of swim especially here in Florida when they’re surrounded by water.

Ana is such a great teacher! Miles started lessons very afraid of putting his head under water or getting his eyes and ears wet. He was an OK swimmer from the previous year, but regressed and fear grew over the off season. She made the lesson time fun and encouraged him with genuine cheering! Swim safety is so important, so she reviewed the basics all over again and made sure he could float and get a breath!!! The transformation took just a few weeks from fear to fish! And I mean.... He was a big fish grabbing the dive toys off of the pool

floor!

We started taking our daughter to My Swim School for swimming lessons since she was 3 years old. She is now 5 and always asks to take her to swimming lessons with Mrs. Ana. She loves the classes and is always looking forward to them. Ana is great with kids and it is obvious that she loves teaching kids to swim. Our daughter learned right away and thanks to My Swim School, we feel more confident and at ease when she is playing at the pool or at the beach.

All classes are 30 minutes long unless other wise arranged.

Every parent has a different goal in mind and every child learns at a different pace. We push each student just enough every class to where they are continuously learning as they build their confidence, but never too far to where they are scared. You pay for a month of classes at a time and you can stop at any point. So there are no long term commitments or sessions you are stuck with. It typically takes 15-20 lessons for a child who is comfortable in the water and has no fear of the water. This changes widely depending on several factors.

It is Florida, so rain (especially in the Summer) is part of our daily life. We do not cancel classes for sprinkles or light rain. We take this opportunity to show our students what it feels like to use their skills in one of many possible real life scenarios. We, however, do not want to put anyone at risk, so if there is visible lightning, nearby thunder or excessive rain we will postpone classes for 30 minutes. It usually clears after that. If it does not, your teacher will make arrangements for a make up class.

We have a satisfaction guaranteed policy. If for ANY reason you are not completely satisfied after the first lesson, we will refund 100% of your tuition (minus the registration fee).

You are also welcome to come and check out the classes before you sign up. Please email or call us to make arrangements.

Make up policy -

At My Swim School, we understand that sometimes things come up! Here’s how our make-up policy works:

  • To qualify for a make-up class, parents must provide at least 12 hours’ notice before the start of the scheduled class.
  • Parents are responsible for scheduling make-up classes, which can be done conveniently online through our system.
  • When a class is missed and meets the 12-hour notice requirement, the system will automatically allow the parent to schedule a make-up.
  • Make-up classes must be scheduled and used within 60 days of the missed class. This 60-day window is designed to help your participant continue to progress and not fall behind in their skills.
  • Classes canceled by My Swim School due to inclement weather, holidays, or other scheduled closures may always be made up according to this policy.
  • Missed make-up classes cannot be rescheduled.
  • Make-up classes may not be with the same instructor as the regular class, and all make-ups are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Make-ups cannot be converted into credit or refund.

Sickness & Attendance:
We understand that children’s health can be unpredictable. Sometimes a child may wake up feeling well in the morning but become sick during the day and miss a class. In these cases, please mark the absence as soon as possible.

If you notify us at least 12 hours before the class, the make-up system will allow you to schedule a replacement class. If illness arises unexpectedly and notice cannot be given in advance, we ask that you keep your child at home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours without medication. We know this can be inconvenient, but prioritizing your child’s health and the safety of all students is our top concern.

We appreciate your cooperation in scheduling make-ups promptly so your participant can stay on track and continue making progress in their lessons!
